Bianca and Don's began with a trip to the Midlands... and a simple pinky promise.
That promise eventually led them to one of the most beautiful winter days at Providence Country Estate, where they gathered with their closest family and friends to celebrate the beginning of their greatest adventure yet—marriage.
From the moment the day began, there was an undeniable sense of excitement. Every detail had been thoughtfully chosen, and the anticipation of the ceremony filled the air. Bianca had always dreamed of exchanging her vows beneath the open sky, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Although the forecast hinted at rain later in the afternoon, we all hoped the weather would give us just enough time.
Then, during the final moments of the ceremony, the heavens opened.
Rain quickly turned into a little hail, and umbrellas appeared as guests embraced the unexpected. But instead of disappointment, there was laughter, gratitude, and an overwhelming sense of joy. One of my favourite moments from the day was watching Bianca walk effortlessly beneath a sea of umbrellas, looking up with the biggest smile. Later, she shared that she was simply grateful she still got to have her dream garden ceremony.
As quickly as the storm arrived, it disappeared again.
The skies cleared, leaving us with the most beautiful soft light for the portraits Bianca had always envisioned. It was as though the day gently reminded us that sometimes the unexpected becomes one of the most memorable parts of the story.
Bianca and Don's wedding was a celebration of love, resilience, and choosing joy regardless of the circumstances.
It was an honour to witness the beginning of their marriage, and a beautiful reminder that the most unforgettable wedding days aren't always the ones that go perfectly—they're the ones filled with grace, gratitude, and a love that shines through every season.
