Imagine arriving at what you think is an engagement party… only to discover that you’re actually there to witness a wedding.
That’s exactly what Jess & Bryce planned for their loved ones at The Fable in the Midlands.
They sent out invitations for what everyone believed was an engagement celebration, carefully keeping the real plan under wraps so that nobody could suspect a thing. And when their guests arrived at the venue, it didn’t take long for everyone to realise that this wasn’t an engagement party at all.
It was their wedding day.
And oh, the reactions. The surprise, the happy tears, the disbelief, the laughter… it was everything.
What made this day even more special was just how much thought Jess & Bryce had put into every little detail. This wasn’t simply a surprise for the sake of surprising everyone. They had intentionally planned a beautiful day around the people they love most, creating an experience they knew their family and friends would never forget.
There was one little thing we weren’t quite sure about in the lead-up to the wedding: the weather. The Midlands had been getting plenty of rain, and just before the weekend, it was looking a little questionable!
But somehow, Saturday arrived and the rain had passed.
Instead, we were gifted with the most beautiful day to celebrate these two.
From the moment their guests discovered the secret, to the laughter, tears and celebrations that followed, Jess & Bryce’s wedding was full of so much joy.
A day filled with love, a little bit of secrecy, and a whole lot of very happy surprised guests.
And honestly? I don’t think anyone there will ever forget the moment they realised they had actually come to a wedding.
