Mandy & Ian’s Unforgettable Wedding in the Berg
Some love stories are written in the stars, while others are written in the mountains. For Mandy and Ian, it was the latter. Though they call Johannesburg home, their hearts have always belonged to the breathtaking landscapes of the Drakensberg. When it came time to say their vows, there was no doubt in their minds that the mountains would be the perfect backdrop to their forever. And what a spectacular setting it was!
Glencairn in Underberg set the scene for a wedding filled with love, laughter, and the kind of joy that only comes from being surrounded by your closest family and friends. The rolling hills, endless skies, and crisp mountain air made for an unforgettable atmosphere—one that perfectly reflected Mandy and Ian’s deep connection to each other and to nature.
From the moment Mandy stepped into her gown, she radiated pure elegance. Her dress was breathtaking, a perfect blend of timeless beauty and effortless grace. Ian, dapper as ever, couldn’t hold back his emotions when he saw his bride walking toward him. Their outside ceremony was heartfelt, full of laugher, and pure joy. To end the ceremony, Mandy's sister sang a beautiful song and it was so special and thoughtful.
The celebration that followed was nothing short of magical. Guests enjoyed stunning cnapes outside and cute little Ice- creams while children played and lawn games was provided. The air was filled with everyone enjoying themselves. Mandy & Ian had an Un-traditional cake and went for an ice-cream cake that added a fun and delicious twist to tradition, bringing smiles to every face.
The dance floor was alive well into the night, with music, laughter, and love filling the air.
