A day they had dreamed of

Some wedding days simply feel like everything falls into place.

For Alex and Gary, their wedding day was everything they had hoped for — and somehow, even more.

Set at their dream wedding venue in KZN Wingrove Valley, the day unfolded with beautiful weather, gorgeous light and the kind of atmosphere that made it so easy to slow down and take it all in.

From the excitement of getting ready to the moment they finally said “I do,” there was so much joy woven through the day. But what stood out most was how deeply their families were part of the celebration.

During canapés, Gary's family gathered together and sang a few songs, creating one of those moments that wasn't simply beautiful to photograph — it was beautiful to experience. There is something so special about a wedding when the people you love aren't just watching from the sidelines, but are actively part of the story.

And then there was the light.

That gorgeous KZN light that seemed to follow them throughout the day, making their portraits feel soft, natural and full of warmth.

Looking back at their photographs, what I love most is that they don't just remind me of how beautiful the venue was or how perfectly the day came together.

They remind me of how it felt to be there.

A day filled with family, music, sunshine, laughter and two people beginning their next chapter together.

Alex and Gary, it was such an honour to document a day that was so clearly yours — a day you had dreamed about, and one that turned out to be even more beautiful than you imagined.
