So you have never done a couples shoot before, and you would love to get professional photos taken, but you are feeling nervous and anxious.
It's out of your comfort zone, I know how you feel.
The best way to think about it is that you are going on a date night.
This way you will be more in the moment and feel present. Be together and if in doubt smile.
All jokes aside, the moment you forget about the camera and you are together in the moment magical moments happen on their own.
Movement is key, move hold hands walk look at each other. Your photographer will guide and help you where needed. But knowing these things before the time will make you feel at ease and relaxed and you know what to expect. An engagement shoot is fun and should be fun for you as a couple.
Wear clothes that you feel comfortable in, when you feel comfortable it shows in your images.
Now, you are getting married. You didn't have time for an engagement session and you have never done a shoot together besides the selfie photos here and there.
When it comes to your creative shoot of the day, this is your moment to take it all in. You are married!!
The biggest tip I can give you to feel comfortable is to stay connected to each other. Hold hands, hold each other, look at each other, kiss, all these tiny things make for beautiful moments naturally. If you have met with your photographer then you will feel so much more relaxed and you will feel at ease knowing that your photographer will guide and capture your beautiful memories.
